büyük ve iri develer elde edilir. Bu
develerin omuz yüksekliği 2.3 metre
ağırlıkları 1000 kg civarındadır. Daha
sabırlı, toleranslı ve hızlı olan bu
türler, onlarla çalışmanın kolay oluşu
nedeniyle geçmişte Anadolu’da yük
taşımacılığında kullanılmışlardır. Deve
çiftliği işletmecisi Cengiz Yavuz, Tülü
cinsi ‘Yavuzhan’ adlı güreş devesiyle
(İncirliova/Aydın).

The shoulder height of these camels is
2.3 meters, and they weigh about 1000
kg. Being more patient, tolerant, and
faster, these species used to be used
in the transport of loads in Anatolia
in the past since it was easy to work
with them. Cengiz Yavuz, a camel farm
operator, with the wrestling camel of
genus “Tülü” and called ‘Yavuzhan’
(İncirliova, Aydın).
